I.   Introduction

Sponsor Booker (or “we” or “us”) values, protects and respects your privacy.  We thank you for the trust you place in us and we want to assure you that the information you share with us will be used for your benefit and will be safeguarded with care.  

This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes our policies and practices with respect to our collection, protection, use and sharing of personally identifiable information (“PII”) and other information collected when you access certain features of our website. For purposes of this Policy, PII about you means information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your communications device. At Sponsor Booker, we commit to using PII responsibly and safeguarding it according to our detailed security standards. 

We never sell your PII.

If you gain access to Sponsor Booker’s program, or apply to gain access to Sponsor Booker’s program, with respect to products or services offered by Sponsor Booker on its website, then additional terms and conditions apply to your access and use of Sponsor Booker’s program including, but not limited to, the Publisher Agreement and Advertiser Agreement available at: SponsorBooker.com (the “Site”).  Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in the Publisher Agreement, Advertiser Agreement, and other agreements, published on the Site (collectively, the “Agreement”). 

Sponsor Booker may provide links to third-party websites. If you click on one of these links, you will be accessing content and services that are not subject to this Policy. This Online Privacy Statement does not apply to any information you may provide while on such sites. We are not responsible for the information-collection practices of the other websites that you visit and urge you to review their privacy policies before you provide them with any PII or company information you would like to remain private. Third-party sites or services may collect, use and secure information about you in a way that is different from those described in this Policy, the Publisher Agreement or the Advertiser Agreement, including Publisher’s and Advertiser’s as defined in the Publisher Agreement or Advertiser Agreement respectively.  Additionally, this Policy does not apply to websites, mobile applications, or services of Sponsor Booker’s business and affiliates that do not directly link to this Policy.  

We may add to, delete or change the terms of this Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the amended policy on the Site. Any changes to the Policy will become effective immediately upon our posting of the Policy, and your use of the Site and our services is deemed to constitute your agreement with the Policy terms. Please be sure to check the Policy before providing us with PII. We encourage you to review the Policy carefully as it relates to your experience with us.

California CCPA Privacy Notice

The purpose of this CCPA Privacy Notice and Policy is to provide you with timely notice, at or before the point of collection, of the details about our practices concerning the privacy of your personal information. This CCPA Privacy Notice and Policy is directed to consumers who reside in the state of California and relates to personal information covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).  Specifically, this CCPA Privacy Notice and Policy provides comprehensive information about our online and offline practices, along with details concerning how you may exercise your California privacy rights and make requests to access, correct or delete the information that Sponsor Booker holds about you. We will not collect additional categories of personal information without updating our Policy.  If you are a resident of the State of California and would like to learn more about how your personal information is shared with third parties or used by Sponsor Booker in the preceding year, as well as the names and addresses of those third parties, please contact us dpo@SponsorBooker.com.

II.   How Does Sponsor Booker Collect Your Information?

Sponsor Booker collects PII about you when you: actively provide it to us from your transactions with us, provide PII at your discretion; respond to a request for information; and when you interact with us online, such as browsing our website. When you visit our website, we automatically collect your "IP Address" used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, operating system, and computer platform. When browsing this Website, you may choose not to provide us with any PII, such as by not registering.

We also may collect PII about you from the following sources: our affiliates; vendors, credit reporting agencies; the Internet; including social media websites and other websites; other financial institutions with whom you have accounts; and other persons and organizations as permitted under applicable law.  

III.   What Types of PII Does Sponsor Booker Collect?

Not all information that we collect from you is PII. We may collect information about you that we cannot use to identify you specifically. By making personal information available to Sponsor Booker, you grant Sponsor Booker the right to use that personal information to contact you by telephone, email and to send you various marketing messages that contain promotional offers from Sponsor Booker, as well as offers from Sponsor Booker’s third party partners, that Sponsor Booker believes may be of interest to you, subject to applicable state and federal law. If you wish to stop receiving future communications from us, please follow the instructions at the end of each such marketing message or review the “Control Over Your Personally Identifiable Information” section below.  

By submitting your personal information through the Site, you agree that doing so constitutes an inquiry and/or application for purposes of the Amended Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 CFR §310 et seq.), and applicable state do-not-call regulations, as amended from time to time. As such, notwithstanding that your telephone number may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission’s Do-Not-Call List, and/or on applicable state do-not-call lists, we retain the right to contact you via telemarketing in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Listed below are the types of information about you that we may have collected. These types of information are PII only if the information identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your device.

  • Identifiers such as: your name, postal address, mother’s maiden email address, online username, IP address, account name, Social Security Number, Driver’s license number or other types of distinct identification or other similar identifiers.  

  • Internet or other similar network activity, such as browsing history, search history, information on your interaction with our website, mobile application(s) or an advertisement. This may include hardware and browser information about your computer or device, including Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type and brand, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, browser type and language used.

  • Geolocation data, which can provide the physical location or movements of the device you use to connect with us online. If you use the mobile application, the physical location of your device using, for example, Bluetooth, satellites, cell phone towers, Wi-Fi signals or other technologies.

  • Sensory data, such as audio, electronic, visual or similar information.

  • “Customer Records” information such as professional/employment-related information or other identifiers, such as your name, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information should you purchase services offered by Sponsor Booker.

  • Commercial information, such as records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.

  • Biometric information, such as fingerprints, eye scan, or voiceprints.

  • Professional or employment-related information, such as your current or past employment history or other profession.

  • Personal characteristics that are related to classifications legally protected from discrimination, such as race, national origin, ethnicity, and gender.

  • Inferences drawn from other PII, such as inferences regarding your race, ethnicity or gender based predispositions or characteristics.

  • Cookies, which are pieces of information stored directly on your device that provide information that is used for security purposes, to facilitate online navigation, to display information more effectively, and to personalize/customize your online experience. IV.   What We Do With the Information We Collect About You

In most cases, any PII about you that we collect is used by us in our efforts to serve you better and administer your transactions with us.  We may use the PII we collect from you for a variety of purposes permitted by law and to facilitate a more user friendly experience with us, including:

  • To recognize you when you return to the Site.

  • To facilitate your application for our products and services and to evaluate your eligibility for such products or services.

  • To personalize our services for you by presenting products and offers tailored to you.

  • To provide you with information about our products and services.

  • To communicate with you (contact you), including in response to your inquiries and to fulfill your requests and to inform you of changes relating to the products and services you receive from us.

  • To prevent fraud, including by confirming your identity and/or location.

  • Other legally permissible or everyday business purposes, including data analysis, legal/ compliance and risk management purposes, product development and compliance with law enforcement and other legal processes.

V.   Disclosure of Information to Others 

With limited exceptions, we do not share personally identifiable information about you with others. If we change this policy, we will let you know by posting updated terms and conditions of this Policy on our Site. As exceptions to this policy, we may from time to time provide personally identifiable information about you to others:

  • To help assure the accuracy and security of the information. For example, we may provide information to consumer reporting agencies. 

  • When we engage service providers to deliver services to you on our behalf and to assist us with financial transaction capabilities, technology support, operational support and other forms of assistance. We attempt to bind our service providers to protect the confidentiality and security of the PII we share with them to the same extent as the terms of this Policy but we cannot guaranty that their terms are the same as the terms of this Policy.

  • In connection with the acquisition or sale of all or a portion of our business, or other businesses.

  • In connection with inquiries made by merchants or others, where the other party represents to us that the inquiry is made as a result of a transaction with you. For example, banks may from time to time ask us to verify the status of a transaction with us based on the information you have given your bank or credit card company.

  • As part of our marketing of our financial products or services. We may, for example, use another party to send materials to you, or to help us identify products and services we offer that may appeal to you.  

  • To respond to opt/out or unsubscribe requests by you.

  • As part of any legal or regulatory requirements imposed on us.

    Our Privacy Notice includes further information on the circumstances where we disclose information to others. As a general rule, we do not share information with others under programs where the other party will use the information to market their products or services to you. If we decide to change this policy, we will inform you of the change and give you an opportunity to prevent us sharing your information by "opting out".  For further information please review the “Control Over Your Personally Identifiable Information” section below.  SponsorBooker reserves the right to sell aggregate data, not personally identifiable data, for any lawful purpose.

VI. Social Media Sites

When you engage with Sponsor Booker on social media platforms including but not limited to, LinkedIn®, Facebook®, Instagram®, Twitter®, Yelp®, YouTube®, or TikTok®, you make certain information from your social media profile available to Sponsor Booker and other platform users. Any content you post such as pictures, information, opinions, or any Personal Information that you make available to other participants on these social platforms, is subject to the privacy policies and terms of use of those respective platforms. Please refer to them to better understand your rights and obligations with regard to such content.

VII. Protecting Children’s Privacy Online

From our web sites, we do not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under 16 without obtaining verifiable consent from their parents. Should a child whom we know to be under 16 send personal information to us, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child, seek parental consent, or provide parental notice. We are not responsible for the data collection and use practices of nonaffiliated third parties to which our web sites may link.

VIII.   Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your PII from unauthorized access and use. Do not use e-mail to send us any PII, since it would be unencrypted and can be read by anyone who receives or intercepts it. In addition to the safeguards, we apply to protect your PII, there are steps you can take to protect it as well, such as: 

  • Do not reveal your password to anyone and do not write it down. You can use a secure password manager to keep track of passwords.

  • Change your password regularly. Choose a long password.

  • Do not leave your computer unattended while you are logged in and sign off and close the web browser or web application when you are finished with your session.

  • In addition, you should run up-to-date anti-virus, anti-spyware, and firewall software. Often, all of these are available within a single commercial product. Always install security updates when you are prompted by your system.

  • If possible, use a single, trusted computer to perform online banking, and don’t use that computer for any other Internet activity.

IX.   Control Over Your Personally Identifiable Information

To opt-out of receiving email and other forms of communications from us, you can either: (a) follow the instructions included in the applicable email message or other communication; or (b) email us at dpo@SponsorBooker.com.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will have to continue to contact you regarding ongoing transactions with us, as well as to respond to any inquiry or request made by you. 

At your request, we will: a) inform you of your personal information we have on our information system; b) to the best of our ability, amend the personal information on our information system; and/or c) to the best of our ability, remove your personal information that you have provided to us, or that we have collected. In doing so, you will need to identify yourself and your specific information that you request to be modified.   To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably expensive, not narrowly tailored to you, or conflict with our information systems capabilities or legal requirements, such as information retention and backup/archival system requirements.  In that regard, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our backup and archival systems.
